Jackson Middle School A Specialty School for Math and Science

 

 

 

I am very excited to be your Spanish teacher this year! This is my 18th year teaching middle school Spanish, and my first year at Coon Rapids Middle School. I've spent the last three years working with Anoka Hennepin QComp, and previous to that I was a Spanish teacher at Jackson Middle School for 13 years.

 

 

I am from Algonquin, Illinois, a northwest suburb of Chicago. I moved to Minnesota in 2002. I attended the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls (Go, Panthers!) and completed my Masters Degree at Arizona State University (Go, Sun Devils!) 

 

 

I currently live in Andover with my kids: Cassie (16) and John (12). We also have two cats: Mattie and Snow. 

 

 

I love spending time with my family, running, traveling, reading, watching movies, and baking.
