Students will study the languages and culture of German, French and Spanish speaking countries. Students may also study Ojibwe, Japanese and/or American Sign Language. This course will help students make a good decision about which language(s) to pursue.

 

Many colleges now have a World Language requirement either for admission or graduation. Students will have the opportunity to begin their language study starting in 8th grade in French, German or Spanish. Students can take up to five years of these languages. American Sign Language can begin in 9th grade and has three years of study.
