Ms. Tilleskjor
Hello! This is my second year at CRHS teaching Amercian Sign Language! I'm so excited to be here again and inspire students to learn this beautiful, visual language! Pior to teaching ASL, I started teaching in 1994 as a teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. On a personal note, I have been deaf since the age of 4 but can speak and lipread pretty well. I have my bachelor's degree in Family Life and Child Development from Mankato State University and my Masters degree from the University of Minnesota in Deaf Education. Not only am I a teacher but I am also a mother of 3 children and 4 fur kids! My kids are: Amanda (20), Zackary (13), and Antonio (11). I have a 11 year old Golden Retriever named Ava and a 2year old Pit Bull named Daisy. I also have 2 cats, Cheezy and Chimmi. During my free time I enjoy biking, going for walks, traveling, reading, and hanging out with my friends and family.
Thank you for supporting your student's education! I am excited to work with your child and watch their growth. Together we can help your child achieve success!
