Payroll
The Payroll department is dedicated in providing reliable and comprehensive payroll services to all Anoka-Hennepin employees. It is our goal to ensure employees are paid in a timely and accurate manner and that necessary employee information is maintained and submitted in accordance with acceptable business and regulatory standards, all while complying with negotiated bargaining unit contracts. Payroll staff provide outstanding and quality customer service through a commitment to excellence.
The Payroll department consists of six office professionals,one payroll accountant, one payroll data specialist and one payroll manager. Currently checks are processed for more than 8,500 employees each calendar year.

Time off tracking with a time clock
Employees must track their time by clocking in and out throughout the week before submitting time sheets for approval. Some employees are assigned a time clock for clocking in and out. Employees should be familiar with the time clock functions to ensure accuracy in hours worked and payment.

Employees should be familiar with the Skyward program functions to ensure accuracy in hours worked and payment.

Time off entry for teachers
Teachers must request time off in Skyward and coordinate coverage for absences using the Red Rover program. The systems are now linked to streamline the process for teachers. Notifications are sent to the employee’s supervisor for approval.
