Today’s Black History quote is from Dr. Mae Jemison. She was the first African American female astronaut to travel into space, serving as a mission specialist aboard the Space Shuttle Endeavor in 1992. She said, “Never be limited by other people's limited imaginations.”

It's I Love to Read month, and we are celebrating in the JMS Library. Submit a design for the bookmark contest, and your bookmark could be one of the ones students pick up at the Circ Desk! Recommend a book to others. Experience "Pick Up Lines" - choosing a book without looking at the cover, just by reading the first lines. Join the activities in the Library before school, with your ELA class, or on a SmartPass.
