"The Crispy Chicken Nuggets" comprised of Judith Templeton, Maci (Macy) Glenn, and Amelya (Amelia) Camp; "Lost in Music" made up of Yasmine Ouattara (WATT-ah-war), Aarohee Anand (Ah-nahnd), and Esther Joseph; and "You Probably Won't Know Anyway, But..." Leo Unverzagt (UN-vehr-saht), Timothy Tran, and Peryn (Pear-in) Hess made it farther in the questions than any other middle school so far, ending at Round 26 and Question 220! These teams will all represent Jackson at the Anoka-Hennepin District Battle in two weeks! Today’s Black History quote is from former President Barack Obama. Barack Obama was the 44th President of the United States, and the first African American to hold the office. He said, “Focusing your life solely on making a buck shows a certain poverty of ambition. It asks too little of yourself. Because it's only when you hitch your wagon to something larger than yourself that you realize your true potential.”
