2020-21 Q-Comp peer evaluator hiring is quickly approaching
(11/21/19) Anoka-Hennepin will be hiring eight new Q-Comp peer evaluators for the 2020-21 school year, and applications are being accepted starting Dec. 3.
Peer evaluators serve three-year terms and are entitled to return to their building once the three years are up. The peer evaluators who have completed their terms work with a wide variety of licensed staff; so candidates from all teaching areas are encouraged to apply. A full list of job responsibilities will be found in the posting for the position.
The posting for the eight positions will be posted Dec. 3 and will remain open until Dec. 16.
Telephone screening interviews and reference checks on all candidates will occur in January. Then, up to 16 candidates will be selected to participate in formal interviews before a panel of five teachers and five administrators Jan. 21-22. While this may seem early to apply for a 2020-21 position, it is necessary to accommodate the district’s staffing timeline.
Minimum of seven years in education.
Continuing contract status.
How to apply
Interested candidates must apply online using Applitrack, the district’s online application system. Along with the online application, candidates must electronically submit a resume and a letter of recommendation from both a supervisor and a peer.
