Technology expansion and device distribution made available for kindergarten through grade three students

Between March 16 and 18, groups of Anoka-Hennepin staff worked hard to prepare more than 13,000 Chromebook laptops for students who needed one to take home to support distance learning during the state-mandated school closure.


On April 3, the district began distributing Chromebook laptops to students in kindergarten through third grade. View photos of K-3 technology distribution at Andover Elementary School.


Anoka-Hennepin began implementing its distance learning plan on March 30 and is committed to providing the best distance learning experience for students. In a distance learning setting, the teachers and curriculum remain the same, only the method of delivery changes.
