    Welcome to Mrs. Moat's Website
    Welcome to 6th and 7th Grade Art! My name is Lisa Moat, and I will be your child's Art teacher this year. I have been teaching 6-8th grade Art at Jackson Middle School for 25 years. Jackson is a great place to be! The staff and students are fantastic, and the unique programs we offer are amazing.
     
    I graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science degree, and obtained my Master's degree from the College of St. Mary's. My husband and I live in Plymouth. We have two boys, Austin (20) and Carter (16), a grandson, Mason (1), and a cat named Maggie.
    My hobbies and interests include drawing, painting, interior design, landscaping, reading, and anything outdoors such as hiking/biking, horseback riding, snowmobiling, and 4- wheeling. 
    Thank you for supporting your student's education! I am excited to work with your child and assist in fostering their artistic growth. My goal is for your child to have a successful, meaningful, positive experience in Art. Together we can help your child achieve success! Feel free to email or call me with any questions or concerns.
