Jackson Middle School fitness tests include the curl ups, sit and reach, mile run, pacer, shuttle run, and push ups. Each student will take a pre-test at the beginning of the year, a mid-tri test to see improvement and what to do to achieve their goals. A post test will be given at the end of the year to see how their fitness has improved throughout by working out and implementing their fitness plans. This is a plan to encourage a good fitness routine and maintain a healthy life style throughout their lives. Each student will have an individual workout plan out side of school to improve on their weakest area by the end of the year. The learning targets are to learn how to implement a personal fitness plan, get the family involved to workout together, and how to work on areas in the future to stay healthy.
Results will be recorded as a no-grade to let you know how
your child is doing on these test.
