Hello! My name is Katie Jakubek and I am your student's 7th grade English Language Arts teacher at Coon Rapids Middle School. I started my teaching career in 2008 and began teaching in the Anoka-Hennepin School District in 2017. I am really looking forward to this year because we are going to learn a lot and have fun while we are doing it!

I graduated from The University of Minnesota Duluth, in 2008, with a Bachelor's of Science in Teaching Communication, Arts, and Literature Grades 5-12. In 2012, I graduated from Southwest Minnesota State University with a Master's of Science Degree in Educational Leadership. In 2018, I decided to go back to school to complete my Master's +60 Degree in Education. Through this experience, I learned a lot of valuable information that I have implemented into my classroom. I am a firm believer that it is always important to keep learning!

I am usually available before school, during CORE, during my prep, after school, and by appointment. Please do not hesitate to contact me because we can do great things when we work together!
