Coon Rapids Middle School

Hello and welcome to my homepage!  I was born and raised in Duluth, Minnesota, and after four years of college and a Bachelor of Science degree started my teaching career at Sorteberg Elementary in Coon Rapids.  Later on I earned my Master's degree in Education from St. Thomas University and my advanced degree in middle school education from the University of Minnesota.  I have taught third, fourth,  and sixth grades in the Anoka-Hennepin Elementary Schools, and have also taught sixth, seventh, and eighth grade ELA at Coon Rapids Middle School.  I am married and have two lovely daughters who are both high schoolers!   Teaching and family time keep me very busy, but in my free moments I enjoy bicycling, inline skating, hiking, and traveling.  I look forward to working with you and your son/daughter, and know it will be an enriching year.  Read on!  :-)
