    6th Grade Math Grading Policy

     

    As a math department we believe a student’s grade should reflect what they know and can do in relation to our learning targets. Our grades are broken down by standard and there are opportunities for students who have not reached proficiency yet to demonstrate understanding along the way.

    Homework can be expected Mondays and Wednesdays and is due two days after it is assigned. We believe homework is a valuable resource to help students retain their understanding and be flexible when transitioning between topics.
