Welcome to my classroom website

This is my 2nd year in the Anoka-Hennepin District, but 15th year of teaching.  I have taught both middle school art and high school art, and I am so excited to have found a home at Coon Rapids Middle School teaching ART 6 and ART 8.  I attended Wartburg College, where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Art Education, and later attended Concordia University, St.Paul, to receive my Master's Degree in Educational Technology. 

I am married and have a baby daughter, Wren, and two dogs, Sydney and Ollie.  As a family, we love to travel, camp, hike, and adventure.  I love new things, places, and experiences.  If I could only eat one food the rest of my life, it would hands-down no-question be pizza, and I never leave home without Sharpie markers.
