    Welcome to our EL Website!
     
    I am so excited to start our new school year!  This is my 12th year at Coon Rapids Middle School.  I teach Reading to English Learners in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades at all levels. I love teaching and helping my students become better readers in English!
     
    I attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Hamline University.  
     
    I am married to Mike, and we have 3 children: Allison, Jared, and Brett.  We have lived in Coon Rapids since 2001.  I like to go for bike rides, read, bake, listen to music, dance, and hang out with my family and friends. 
     
    We are going to have a great year, having fun while improving English language skills!
