    Welcome to our Classroom Website

    Hello!  My name is Genny Hemingway. I am very excited to be a part of what makes Coon Rapids Middle School the very best! I have worked as a licensed special education teacher for many years. I currently hold Minnesota Licensure in the areas of Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD), Emotional/Behavior Disorders (EBD), and Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). I have also earned a Master’s Degree in Education with a focus on Differentiated Instruction from Concordia University, Saint Paul. My many years of working with students has spanned across elementary, middle, and high school settings. Middle school is my favorite!

    My beautiful daughter and I live in Como Park, Saint Paul.  We love to spend our summers at the zoo, walking around the lake, and enjoying the conservatory! Riding horses is our shared passion. Giddy-up!
