Coon Rapids Middle School

 

 

 I am currently the Special Education department leader at Coon Rapids Middle School.  I have been teaching for 34 years. I taught second grade for 7 years. All other years have been in special education.  I have been teaching in Anoka-Hennepin for 26 years.  I began my career in Anoka-Hennepin at Coon Rapids High School.  I have been at Coon Rapids Middle School since 1995.  I have been Special Education department leader for the last 10 years.

University of St. Thomas, St Paul, Minnesota   Masters Degree:  Special education:   learning disabilities and behavior problems 

 

I am married to Rick Gabriel.  Together we raised 4 children.  We have 7 lovely granddaughters and 2 handsome grandsons and 1 friendly dog.  We enjoy sailing on Lake Superior and downhill skiing.  In my free time I like to read, walk, scrapbook and create Shutterfly books.
