Coon Rapids Middle School

Welcome to my classroom website!

My name is Katy Hondlik and I am a proud member of Team Coon Rapids!  I began teaching in 2003 and came to Coon Rapids Middle School in 2004.  I taught Spanish for three years and have been teaching English Language Learners since 2007.  I may be biased, but I think we have the best staff and students in the world at Coon Rapids Middle School!

I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Spanish Education from Taylor University in Upland, IN and my Master of Science degree in Spanish Education from Minnesota State University, Mankato.  I did further studies at Hamline University, where I also earned my teaching license in ESL.  I live in Circle Pines with my husband, Andrew, my children Micah and Ayla, and our two crazy dogs, Buddy Lee and Bubba Chong.  I enjoy reading, knitting, being active, watching TV and movies with my husband, being a mom, and playing with our dogs.
