Coon Rapids Middle School

Welcome to Mrs. Bienias' classroom website!

I have been teaching since 2014 with the majority of my experience in Anoka-Hennepin. I have worked with Second Graders at Rum River Elementary School, Seventh Graders at Oak View Middle School, Sixth Graders at Roosevelt Middle School, Eighth Graders at Northdale Middle School, High Schoolers at Andover High School, Fifth Graders at Turtle Lake Elementary, Seventh Graders at Jackson Middle School, and Sixth and Seventh Graders at Coon Rapids Middle School. I have taught Science and ELA in the majority of these positions.

I attended Roosevelt Middle School from 6th Grade through 8th Grade. I spent my Freshman year at Blaine High School, but when Andover High School was built and the boundaries changed, I had the opportunity to go to Andover High School. After high school, I attended Augsburg College in Minneapolis to achieve my undergrad in Elementary Education Studies with a K-8 emphasis in Communication Arts. I am in the process of obtaining my Master's Degree as well. 

I come from a big family being the eldest child of a family of eight children. My youngest sibling graduated from high school this past Spring! In my household, it is just me and my husband which is quite the change from my large family roots! My husband and I enjoy working on our house and yard. We are Minnesota sports fans, both collegiate and professional, so we spend a lot of time attending games.
