Welcome to my 7th Grade Life Science and 8th Grade Earth Science Classroom Website

I'm excited to be teaching at Coon Rapids Middle School. This is my second year teaching in the district, and my first year at CRMS, but my 9th year as an educator. I spent last year at Roosevelt Middle School, and the five years before teaching middle school science in the Eau Claire Area School District, in Eau Claire, WI. Before that I spent a year teaching middle school science in Burnsville, MN and a year teaching high school science in Elk River, MN.

I graduated high school from Roseville Area High School in 2005. I earned degrees in Biology, General Science, and Secondary Education from University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.

I married my husband, Patrick, in the fall of 2015. We have two cats, Owen and Tesla. We are expecting our first child in December. In our free time we love to camp and go hiking.
