(04/01/2022) DeMann Seals has been named principal for Coon Rapids Middle School for the 2022-23 school year. He will begin serving in this role effective July 1, 2022. Seals takes over from Tom Shaw, who will be principal at Roosevelt Middle School starting next year. 

Seals has a strong record of service as current assistant principal at CRMS for the past five  years. He also served as administrative intern at Coon Rapids High School and as a special education teacher in Anoka-Hennepin. His selection followed a competitive hiring process with community input and feedback from CRMS staff members and district administration.
