Meet Mrs. Gustafson
Welcome to English Language Arts class! I am excited to meet all of my students and their families, and I look forward to working with you this year. I have been teaching in the Anoka-Hennepin school district since 2005. As a graduate of Anoka-Hennepin, I take pride in what our schools and teachers have to offer. Throughout my years here I have met many remarkable teachers who have shaped and influenced my life, inspiring me to do the same for my own students. After graduating from Blaine High School, I earned my bachelor’s degree in English from Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota. I also have a minor in elementary education with a concentration in grades 5-8 language arts. I completed my master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University of Portland, Oregon in 2015. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two sons who also attend school in the Anoka-Hennepin School District. I enjoy reading, gardening, and traveling along the North Shore of Lake Superior.
