Welcome to my classroom website!

My name is Beth Ritzema. I have been in education since 2000 working in Chicago, St. Francis, Champlin Park High School and Coon Rapids Middle School. I went to Trinity Christian College in Palos Heights, IL earning a degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. More recently, I earned a Masters of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction with an Emphasis in Reading from Concordia University in St. Paul. I teach to help students reach their highest potential not just in reading. My hope is to prepare them to be successful adults no matter what vocation they chose.

My husband and I have 3 boys and live in Blaine. We enjoy attending our kids' sporting events, fishing, and being active outdoors.
