High schools turn to virtual events to celebrate accomplishments, graduates of 2019-20
(05/28/20) Every spring, more than 3,000 seniors at Anoka-Hennepin’s five traditional high schools earn their high school diplomas and participate in well-deserved graduation ceremonies.
In addition, hundreds of high school students are recognized during a variety of events, such as community scholarship nights, senior capstone presentations, National Honor Society Induction ceremonies, and other events. Traditionally, an event is held at each school to recognize students with awards.
Although in-person celebrations aren’t being held, our schools are holding on to these traditions and recognizing students through virtual events.
