Blaine High School teacher earns award from Minnesota Council on the Teaching of Languages and Cultures
(11/20/2020) Blaine High School - Center for Engineering, Mathematics and Science (BHS) foreign language teacher Joseph Grund was recently recognized by the Minnesota Council on the Teaching of Languages and Cultures organization.
Grund, who teaches French at BHS, was named the 2019-20 Outstanding Student Teacher during his time as a student at the University of Minnesota.
The award is given in recognition of outstanding service and extraordinary potential in providing excellent instruction in the world language classroom by a student-teacher of a world language in Minnesota. The student-teacher may be nominated by a cooperative teacher or university methods professor.
Grund was recently recognized during the awards portion of the Minnesota Council on the Teaching of Languages and Cultures fall conference which was held virtually Nov. 7-8.
