High School graduation ceremonies to be held, in-person on same dates and locations
(04/30/2021) Anoka-Hennepin Superintendent David Law announced at the regular School Board meeting April 26 that all five of the district’s traditional high schools will hold in-person graduation ceremonies on the originally scheduled dates.
After considering multiple options, the district will hold graduation ceremonies for Andover, Blaine, Champlin Park and Coon Rapids high schools Sunday, June 6 at 3M Arena at Mariucci on the University of Minnesota campus. Anoka High School will hold its graduation ceremony Monday, June 7 at Goodrich Field.
Based on current guidance from the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) and capacity limits, each school is expected to conduct two ceremonies to allow for more family members to attend. Schools will continue to monitor MDH guidelines which could impact planning for the ceremonies.
Detailed information from each school regarding graduation ceremonies will be shared with graduates and their parents/guardians.
