I teach English as a Second Language. I enjoy meeting all of my students from all parts of the world! Your stories and adventures help make our classroom an interesting and vibrant place. I have taught all the grade levels, K-12 in my 26 years as a teacher in Anoka-Hennepin, both in regular education and English as a Second Language. My grandparents came from Norway and I still have family there. I can't wait until I can go and visit my cousins in Trondheim. I grew up on a farm with a lot of cows, horses, sheep, chickens, dogs and cats. I am also a veterinary technician and the director of an animal rescue organization. I still live on a farm and rescue companion animals that are in trouble. I have two adult children. My son is a lawyer and my daughter is a librarian in Washington D.C.
