Seeking parents/guardians to participate in Special Education Advisory Council (SEAC)
(09/04/2024) The Special Education Advisory Council serves as a resource and as an advisory council for parent involvement, current issues, program development and priorities for special education programs in the district.

District Welcome Center hosts Multilingual Learner Family Night
(09/04/2024) Anoka Hennepin's student services department recently hosted a Multilingual Learner Family Night at the Welcome Center to welcome families to the district. During the event on Aug. 13, district staff supported multilingual families navigating the school system and provided resources to help a successful transition and start the school year.

District adds boys' volleyball as a sanctioned high school league co-curricular activity
(09/04/2024) All five traditional Anoka-Hennepin high schools (Andover, Anoka, Blaine, Champlin Park and Coon Rapids) will now offer boys volleyball as a sanctioned Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) co-curricular activity. The School Board approved the recommendation on a unanimous vote at the regular meeting on Aug. 26.

(09/02/2024) The difference that every staff member makes in school communities each day is powerful. With each “win” that students achieve in their educational journey, staff in the district are all working together, preparing for that handshake they will receive at commencement, before a diploma is placed in their hands.
