Welcome to My Classroom Website
I have been teaching at Anoka for the 2013-2014 school year, but I have taught the past 8 years at Andover High School. I am excited to finally be a part of the real A town, and love being a part of the Anoka family.
I have taught 9th, 10th and 11th grade English, as well as Creative Writing, AP Language & Composition, and CIS Writing. I received my degree in Communication Arts & Literature from St. Cloud State University in 2005, and recently completed my Master in Fine Art Creative Writing in Poetry from Hamline in the spring of 2013.
I was off for maternity leave last spring, but will be here for the full school year in 2014-2015. In addition to spending time with my family, I enjoy horseback riding, yoga, scuba diving, reading, and writing.
