Anoka High School Center for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM)

 

 

My name is Mark Sundberg. I work in the Special Education Department at Anoka High School. I am licensed in Specific Learning Disabilities and Emotional Behavioral Disorders. I teach Resource Math classes as well as support various Algebra, Geometry and occasional Social Studies and English classes. I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree from St. Olaf College and a Master of Counseling and Youth Development from Minnesota State University, Mankato.

2015-16 is my 13th year at Anoka where in addition to my Special Education work I have advised the Student Council for the last nine years. Prior to arriving at AHS I worked for a number of years in the private sector teaching young adults with Learning Disabilities. It sort of amazes me to think this year will be my 32nd working with young people. Feels like it began yesterday! I look forward to an excellent school year in which we all work to help each student realize his or her potential.
