Welcome to my Anoka High School ART Classroom Website!
I am excited to begin my 40th year teaching art, with the last 34 years being in the Anoka-Hennepin School District! This is my 17th year teaching at Anoka High School, with previous years at Hoover and Ramsey Elementary Schools. Prior to my move to Minnesota, I taught art in the Allison-Bristow School District in Allison, Iowa. I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Iowa, with a teaching degree and a minor in music. I also obtained my Masters of Art Education from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis. I am also an active pastel artist with a working art studio in my home. My husband and I have 4 daughters who also graduated from Anoka High School.
