    ¡Hola!

    I am Profesora Walz or "Profe" for short.  I have been teaching for 8 years, and I LOVE my job!  I graduated from Concordia College (GO COBBERS!) with a bachelor's degree in Spanish Education in 2012, and I graduated with my Master's of Arts in Education from St. Mary's University in 2017.  While living abroad, I studied Spanish art, architecture, and literature in Segovia, Spain.  I have also traveled to Mexico City and the Yucatán Peninsula.  One of my goals in life is to visit all 21 Spanish-speaking countries across the globe!  My family and I live in St Paul, MN.  We love to go camping, playing board games, spend time with our friends and family, and pontooning on the lake at our family cabin in Park Rapids, MN.   
    Parents and guardians, thank you for supporting world language learning and exposing your student to the world's cultures.  I am excited to work with your language learner and to watch them grow in their Spanish skills.  Learning Spanish is incredibly important in our current world!  If you have questions about how Spanish can help your student's future, please let me know!  Feel free to email me with any questions or concerns you have.
