Anoka High School Center for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM)

I am a special education teacher here at Anoka High school.  I graduated from Minnesota State University Mankato in May 2013 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education: Developmental Cognitive Disabilities. I completed a Master’s Degree in Autism Spectrum Disorders and licenses to teach students with Autism Spectrum Disorders and Learning Disabilities through MSU Mankato in May 2016.

I grew up in southwest Minnesota where my dad is a farmer and my mom was an elementary special education teacher. In my spare time I enjoy being with my husband Andy, family and friends, spending time outside, running, biking, cooking, playing piano and reading.
