Anoka High School Cross Country Running
-
The first official day of the 2025 Cross Country season will be on MONDAY, AUGUST 11th at 8:00 AM. We will meet at our very own Cross Country course located on Anoka High's campus. We meet at the opening on the south end of the campus, directly across from the tennis courts.
What will you need for the first day? BE REGISTERED WITH AND UP-TO-DATE PHYSICAL ON FILE! Bring water, running shoes, running clothes, and a watch (cheap watches with a stopwatch function are perfect).

We will practice Monday through Friday throughout the season with occasional and optional Saturday runs. Practices for the first two weeks will be from 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM (please note: some days will be shorter. Make sure you have transportation plans when needed). Beginning Monday, August 25th, practices will move to our usual 'after-school' time due to teacher workshops beginning. These practices will be from 2:45 - 4:30 for the remainder of the season.
Communication will be through both a program called 'Reach My Teach' and through Synergy emails. I will use these in case of practices or meet cancellations or any general communication that parents/athletes may need.
