I have been teaching at Anoka for 27 years. I teach in the Business and Marketing Department. Some classes that I teach are the DECA Seminar, DECA Internship, Sales and Advertising, Intro to Marketing, College and Career Development, Keyboarding, Personal Money Management along with a few others. I oversee our DECA program, which is the Marketing and Management Internship program, and the DECA Mart, our school store. I am also the Head Boys Golf coach and the Indoor Concessions Manager. I am originally from Ohio, a true Buckeye. I earned a Marketing degree from Miami (OH) along with a minor in coaching. I was a scholarship athlete on the track team where I specialized in the throwing events. I then continued my education earning a master’s degree in Sports Management from THE Ohio State University and a master’s in Education from the University of Minnesota. Before teaching I worked in the professional sports field with the New York Yankees, Minnesota Strikers, Minnesota Timberwolves, Minnesota North Stars and Munsingwear in their pro golf division. I am married with two kids and live in Isanti, MN.
