Anoka High School Tornadoes Hall of Fame

Purpose:
To recognize individuals that have outstanding accomplishments for Anoka High School and to provide a link between the past school members and the future.
Categories:
Activities, athletics, accomplishments, and achievements.
Requirements:
Former athletes and participants must have been out of school for seven years or more. Coaches and directors must be retired.
Committee:
The committee is selected by the activities director to vote upon the nominations received. The activities director is the chair of the committee but does not have a vote in the selection process. The committee names are kept confidential to the public to avoid undue pressure.
Process:
The committee will meet once a year to review nominations received. Nomination forms are sent to the activities director by June 1 for the upcoming class of inductees. Nominations can be submitted online, or by contacting the activities director at Anoka High School. Nominations that are not inducted into the Hall of Fame will be kept on file for future consideration. The hallway in the Anoka High School field house will be used to display the Hall of Fame recipients.History:
The class of the Hall of Fame was named Friday, Sept. 9, 2011. The inductees were presented a plaque with a photo on it during halftime of the football game that evening.
